Pattern: Cam Tee


The Cam Tee is a loose, breezy top for warm summer days and cool summer nights. Constructed from the bottom up, the top features a split hem, cables running up each front side, twisted ribbing up the back sides and on every finished edge, and a wide neckline.


I wanted this pattern to be as accessible as possible, so the pattern is graded for nine sizes (34"-58" at bust), and it includes instructions for knitting flat as well as in the round. There's no complicated waist or sleeve shaping, and the side cables have written instructions as well as charts.

    DAAAH you are bad for my self-discipline! NO HEATHER FINISH AT LEAST ONE SWEATER FIRST GEEZ. Give me a month, and I might just have to start this, it's a lovely tee! I love that it has all of these fun little details, but is still a very wearable and simple top (I think I've learned that those are the tops I wear the most). Nice job!

    It looks great. I love the side cables that continue onto the sleeves. And the orange is such a fun color. Not enough things are made in orange.

      Thanks! Orange is my favorite color, so I definitely agree that there's not enough orange in the knitting world :)

    This is gorgeous! I'm rather jealous of your ability to create a well fitting garment - I seem to be lacking the maths skills to make knitted clothing work!
