Weekending


I hope you all had a restorative weekend. Friday and Sunday I went shopping with my mum, and it was awesome to just get out of the house for a bit. Saturday I had a friend come over for knitting and watching Food Network, and that was definitely what I needed this weekend.

As you can see, the blue shawl is still moving along. I had to wash two big loads of dog blankets yesterday, so I brought them to the laundromat and hung out with shawlzilla for a couple hours. The border is now over 75% done, and I'm hoping I can get this ready to block by midweek. I'm feeling a hat kick coming on, I need to swatch for the Early Check In KAL, finish my mum's sweater, and, oh yeah, start xmas knitting.

    Oh too funny, shawlzilla. I just finished one for great grandma and it felt never ending. Lovely colour by the way. I love the Food Network! All of it and so does my 9 year old.

    It is good to get out of the house for a bit with loved ones. Yay to getting a start on Christmas knitting. I still need to get in gear with that.
