The first clue for the Windy City Mystery KAL went out yesterday, and I'm already charmed. I love how my yarns are knitting up, I love how the colors look together, and I'm super excited to see how this shawl works up. I still haven't finished the bottom edge of my Finn cardigan, and I haven't made much progress on the baby sweater, but it's supposed to storm this weekend, so hopefully I'll get lots of knitting time in.
This would totally be a reasonable expectation, except for the fact that my room is an actual disaster right now and needs some major cleaning/organizing/purging. Hopefully there will be enough of a break in the rain for me to spend some quality time with my storage unit to swap some stuff out. I also have a huge stack of library books to get read-working in an ILL office is really bad for me, apparently, and I need to start catching up on my reading.
