Aust Cliff

Aust Cliff is a gorgeous fossil site in South Gloucestershire, England. It’s made up of layers of red and green mudstone, alabaster, limestone, and black shale, and is especially known for the numerous samples of Triassic-age insects found there.

The Aust Cliff hat is meant to work with hand-dyed yarns to evoke the color layers of its namesake, and the four-row stitch pattern is easy to memorize, making this a perfect choice for a portable project.

Aust Cliff is now available on Ravelry, and is 20% off through Friday with code CLIFFS.
