A Mish-Mash

This week I'm a bit all over the place-my room is a total disaster right now, I've been putting off a photoshoot for three days, I'm not sure when the last time I went to the grocery store was, and I think I've misplaced a sweater's quantity of yarn. The room is the big issue, and once that's taken care of I'll be in a much better place. I like to do a major cleaning and clear-out before winter hits, so I have piles of stuff everywhere and tons of laundry to do (I really hate that I have to wash everything before I put it away for the summer and then when I unpack it everything smells like plastic bins and I have to wash it all over again).

I'm juggling a few different design projects right now-mostly quick things to get in the mood for cold weather. Up there is a little sneak peek of a new thing that I'm hoping to have ready in the next couple of weeks. The overdue photoshoot I mentioned has to happen tonight, because the sample is actually for a friend of mine, and I said I would give it to her at choir practice, so that will get me caught up there. (Note: I have no clue how I'm going to style this photoshoot. That's a problem for Future Kat.)

I don't feel like I've been knitting as much as usual, probably because it's hard to knit and clean at the same time, but I've also been having some trouble with pinched nerves in my shoulders and elbows. I finally went for a massage yesterday, which was definitely an A+ decision, and I should be back to my normal self in a day or two.

Linking up with Yarn Along

  1. Ooh! What is that smooshy yarn?! Is that Malabrigo Merino Worsted or Rasta? One time I thought I lost this camel mixed yarn I had bought at Art Yarns in downtown SF. I for the life of me couldn't figure out where the hell it was. I had like half a beanie done that was mostly worked upon at a Stitch 'n Pitch game. It wasn't until we had moved that I actually came across it and I swore I had looked in that area or bag a couple of times. I had linked to you a few days ago. You inspired me to want to knit next From Another Place Crop Top as I had totally fallen in love with yours. I linked to that post last Sunday ^__^.
