Rules for Feeding Your Stash, Part II

In the spirit of one of my most popular posts ever, I have some more rules for feeding your stash:

1. It doesn't count if it looks like Halloween

2. It doesn't count if it's been sitting in the yarn store for ever and ever and you felt sorry for it

3. It doesn't count if it's already in a ball, so you don't need to wind it

4. It doesn't count if it's one of your favorite yarns ever in the world

5. It super duper doesn't count if your friends' kids dyed it (bonus points if you got it in a swap!)

  1. This is HYSTERICAL! I'm adopting this philosophy immediately. BTW--It also doesn't count if it's souvenir yarn.)

    1. 1. Halloween is the best holiday ever, and we should live with the spirit of Halloween in our hearts all year long, so it definitely doesn't count as stash.
      2. Some context: that yarn was in the store for at least 4 years-I'm pretty sure I saw it there one of the first times I went in. It definitely needed a loving home, finally.

  4. It doesn't count if you already have a project in mind for it ...even if it never ends up being used in that exact project. Right?! You have some lovely yarns there, m'dear. :)

  5. I'm just going to say that it doesn't count if it's any type of yarn! Can't have too much of a good thing, right?

    1. Bahahaha! I admit, that's my general predisposition, but we must have *some* rules at least :P

  6. It doesn't count if you already know were you'll hide it (cos it doesn't count if it's hidden or forgotten)
